Alfredo Pasta with Bacon



Ingredients: 
  • 16 oz. Angel Hair or pasta of your choice 
  • 4 - 6 slices of cooked bacon 
  • 1/4 cup Velata Sangria (or wine of your choice)  
  • 1 jar of your favorite Alfredo Sauce 
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Basil sauce  
  • 1/2 stick butter 
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard 
  • 1 tsp sea salt 
  • 1 tsp pepper 
  • 1 tsp minced garlic 
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes 
  • 1/2 tsp parsley 
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning 
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the pasta according to the package.
  2. Cook the bacon then slice it into pieces and set aside
  3. Pour the Alfredo sauce, Tomato Basil sauce and wine in a  sauce pot
  4. While the sauce is heating add butter, Dijon mustard, minced garlic and all of the seasonings to the sauce
  5. Stir constantly until butter is melted & sauce is heated
  6. Add 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until melted
  7. Before you drain your pasta add 4 tbsp of the boiling pasta water to the Alfredo mixture
  8. Drain the pasta
  9. Plate pasta then add Alfredo mixture, Bacon & Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle more parsley on top
  10. Serve with a glass of Velata Sangria & Enjoy!
