Alfredo Pasta with Bacon
- 16 oz. Angel Hair or pasta of your choice
- 4 - 6 slices of cooked bacon
- 1/4 cup Velata Sangria (or wine of your choice)
- 1 jar of your favorite Alfredo Sauce
- 1/2 cup Tomato Basil sauce
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese
Instructions:
- Prepare the pasta according to the package.
- Cook the bacon then slice it into pieces and set aside
- Pour the Alfredo sauce, Tomato Basil sauce and wine in a sauce pot
- While the sauce is heating add butter, Dijon mustard, minced garlic and all of the seasonings to the sauce
- Stir constantly until butter is melted & sauce is heated
- Add 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until melted
- Before you drain your pasta add 4 tbsp of the boiling pasta water to the Alfredo mixture
- Drain the pasta
- Plate pasta then add Alfredo mixture, Bacon & Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle more parsley on top
- Serve with a glass of Velata Sangria & Enjoy!
