Grilled Skirt Steak Marinated in Beaujolais Red Wine
Ingredients:
Red Wine Marinade:
- 1 cups red wine (Beaujolais or red wine of your choice)
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 stick melted butter
- sliced onions
- sliced peppers
Skirt Steak:
- 1 Skirt Steak
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 tsp cilantro
Instructions:
Marinade:
- Stir all of the red wine marinade ingredients together in a bowl
- Place steak, onions, peppers in a large bowl or large Ziploc bag
- Pour all of the marinade over the steak and refrigerate for at least 2 hours
Grilled Skirt Steak:
- Preheat grill
- Combine all of the dry seasoning ingredients together
- Season the steak with the seasoning mixture
- Place the steak on the grill and cook for 5 - 7 minutes on each side
- Remove from grill and allow to rest.
- Grill the peppers & onions until soft
- Slice the steak
Salad:
- Romaine lettuce or lettuce of your choice.
- Boiled eggs
- Shredded cheese
- Tomatoes
- Blue cheese crumbles
- Croutons
- Bacon bits
Prepare salad to your liking, serve with a glass of Beaujolais & ENJOY!
