Grilled Skirt Steak Marinated in Beaujolais Red Wine




Ingredients: 

Red Wine Marinade:

  • 1 cups red wine (Beaujolais or red wine of your choice)

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 stick melted butter
  • sliced onions
  • sliced peppers

Skirt Steak:

  • 1 Skirt Steak
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp cilantro

Instructions:

Marinade:

  1. Stir all of the red wine marinade ingredients together in a bowl
  2. Place steak, onions, peppers in a large bowl or large Ziploc bag
  3. Pour all of the marinade over the steak and refrigerate for at least 2 hours

Grilled Skirt Steak:

  1. Preheat grill 
  2. Combine all of the dry seasoning ingredients together
  3. Season the steak with the seasoning mixture
  4. Place the steak on the grill and cook for 5 - 7  minutes on each side
  5. Remove from grill and allow to rest.
  6. Grill the peppers & onions until soft
  7. Slice the steak 

Salad:

  1. Romaine lettuce or lettuce of your choice.
  2. Boiled eggs
  3. Shredded cheese
  4. Tomatoes
  5. Blue cheese crumbles 
  6. Croutons
  7. Bacon bits
Prepare salad to your liking, serve with a glass of Beaujolais & ENJOY!
