Champagne Crab Boil
- 2 lbs crab legs
- 2 lbs shrimp
- 1 pkg smoked sausage of our choice
- 2 lbs of potatoes cut in half
- 6 small ears of corn
- 2 sliced onions
- 2 sliced bell peppers
- 3 stalks of celery
- 1 tbsp crab boil concentrate
- 1/2 cup old bay seasoning
- 4 - 6 lemons cut in half
- 4 quarts of water
- 1 bottle sparkling wine (M. Chevallier Cava Carte Noire Brut or sparkling wine of your choice)
Instructions:
- Fill 8 - 10 quart stock pot with water, sparkling wine and crab boil concentrate
- Add old bay, lemons, onions, peppers, celery and bring to a boil
- Add potatoes, sausage, corn and cook until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes
- Add crab and let cook for approximately 5 minutes
- Add shrimp and let cook until shrimp are bright pink, approximately 2 -3 minutes
- Serve with a glass of Cava & ENJOY!
