Champagne Crab Boil




Ingredients: 

  • 2 lbs crab legs
  • 2 lbs shrimp
  • 1 pkg smoked sausage of our choice
  • 2 lbs of potatoes cut in half
  • 6  small ears of corn
  • 2 sliced onions
  • 2 sliced bell peppers
  • 3 stalks of celery
  • 1 tbsp crab boil concentrate
  • 1/2 cup old bay seasoning
  • 4 - 6 lemons cut in half
  • 4 quarts of water
  • 1 bottle sparkling wine (M. Chevallier Cava Carte Noire Brut or sparkling wine of your choice)

Instructions:

  1. Fill 8 - 10 quart stock pot with water, sparkling wine and crab boil concentrate
  2. Add old bay, lemons, onions, peppers, celery and bring to a boil
  3. Add potatoes, sausage, corn and cook until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes
  4. Add crab and let cook for approximately 5 minutes
  5. Add shrimp and let cook until shrimp are bright pink, approximately 2 -3 minutes
  6. Serve with a glass of Cava & ENJOY!
