Baked Salmon in a White Wine Sauce




Ingredients: 

White Wine Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup white wine (OTTOSOLDI GAVI or your favorite white wine)
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp oregeno
  • 1 tbsp cilantro
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

Salmon:

  • 4 salmon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp paprika

Rice:

  • Boxed or packaged white rice of your choosing
  • Follow cooking instructions on package

Instructions:

White Wine Sauce:

  1. Combine all of the white wine sauce ingredients together in a sauce pan over medium heat
  2. Stir until butter is melted
  3. Turn the heat down or off but keep sauce warm

Salmon:

  1. Preheat oven to  400°F 
  2. Combine all of the dry seasoning ingredients together then rub all over the salmon.
  3. Place the salmon skin side down in a baking dish
  4. Put in the oven for approximately 15 minutes
  5. Plate an individual serving of your cooked rice spoon a little white wine sauce on top of rice
  6. Place 1 salmon filet on top of the rice then spoon the white wine sauce on top of the salmon.
  7. Top the salmon with fresh herbs 
  8. Serve with a glass of Gavi & ENJOY!
